I got the $1 charge from Blizzard.com yesterday, and as soon as it went through it was followed up with the rest, all within a 24 hour period.

I can't believe BOA didn't say WTF? and stop until they confirmed with me.
Had it happen 2X last year w/ BOA for my business acct. Many charges in a short period of time including exploratory $1 charges. When I called BOA, they said they red flagged my account (but could not explain why they did not notify me) It took several weeks to straighten out but they tied MY money up in the meantime!
Second time, I caught it as it was happening so it was much easier to shut off. I watch my accounts like a hawk now!

There is a Wachovia in LaPlata and one in Brandywine, there will be a new Wachovia some time in the next year or two in St. Mary's. I guess you've never heard of internet banking?

[HTML]As for the issue...sucks but I don't see how it has to do with Droid. Droid doesn't take credit/checking info./HTML]

And the bank issue had to do with the money was taken from his bank account. He state BOA didn't call him to tell him about the charges.

Internet banking is useful for many functions but that doesn't put money in your wallet, does it? Does it let you insert items into a safety deposit box? How about any of the other things that require a physical bank or ATM? Are they even building new wachovia banks now?? Aren't they Wells Fargo?

and regardless of your quoting issues, he was complaining about the Droid being linked to his bank account problems...read the first post in the thread. BoA not notifying him was a secondary issue not mentioned in the first post. But with Droid, he can download the BoA app and check his accounts from anywhere (Wachovia doesn't have an online app)

Yep, Blizzard was very good about it after I got through their voicemail from hell..

Glad to see that you got some resolution. Looks like this is a common problem associated with BOA. Might want to look into switching banks (I know its a pain) as BOA looks to be prone to hacking.

ATK is free, and a must-have. One of the few things I don't like about Android; you need some kind of task killer.

However for app downloads you have to input a credit card, which stays linked (but password protected, I believe).

Another good security measure for Android based phones is Protector. Locks certain apps including things like your email, gallery, and messages with a 4-6 digit pin. Cost me some money, but it was worth it. It allows you to lock any app you choose - including the market.

Check out Androidforums.com, really helpful and good for researching apps you're wary of.

If I need cash I go to an ATM, generally just use a checkcard. No, I don't have a safety deposit box, I have a small safe in my house for my important documents.

How many times to you go to the bank? I probably only go to the bank a few times a year, if that. Unless I'm taking money out for a trip or need a cashier's check, I don't need to go to the bank. And yes, Wells Fargo bought Wachovia last year, they are going to be opening a branch in St. Mary's sometime the end of 2011 and 2012.

I believe his main issue was the fact that the money was missing from his bank account. How it was missing, who took it and why BOA didn't let him know, is all the same issue.

Wachovia does have Wachovia Mobile.

ALL from Blizzard.com entertainment. I'd try to reach them, but the site is blocked from work, so had to go through the bank to file a claim.
