There'll be absolutely no piercing allowed until my girls are much older - and I'm talking ears only with the traditional one hole per ear lobe! On another note, I was recently shopping for new underwear for my 6-year old girls and I still can't believe this, but they had thong underwear in their size! Why I don't know...what little girl needs thong underwear and what kind of a parent would purchase thong underwear for a child that young? My girls still want the kind with the Disney princesses on them. Obviously, I object to them on a moral level as well as for health reasons, but I also don't want my little girl's hand occupied with constantly trying to right the situation in her behind.

Why the hell would anyone, adult or child, man or woman, wear thong underwear? Most of us have a hard enough time keeping our briefs or boxers out of there.

Of course they should. Our son was raised in a predominantly female household so he learned that at a young age. But a lot of young men don't - they only know what they see on MTV. Then they see all these girls acting like sluts in real life and what are they supposed to think?

Like it or not, the moral tone of our society is controlled by women. When we relax our standards (like we've done since the NOW babes took over), everything goes to hell in a handbasket. Women are focused on careers now, not on their families like I feel they should be. Women became "sexually free", which led to them being debased in the media.

I, personally, don't like being equal to men. I like being superior, like we used to be.

About the thongs: it has nothing to do with sex and everything to do with not having to pick a wedgie every few minutes. The girls and I all wear them - it's a matter of comfort.
