Barges near Solomons Bridge

What is that city of barges for?

Didn't they just do a bridge inspection??

Maybe they are apart of that and because we had such a HUGE(*giggle*) storm come in, they just parked them there temporarily

Repair barges fixing that big crack in one of the support piers.
Nothing to worry about. Installing those big iron straps like on
top of the piers to keep it together.

You all loaded up the BS in this thread.

The barges are from the Dominion Gas Pier out in the bay. They were moved into the river because of a threat of the hurricane(Earl) coming up the bay. They will be moving out this week as work resumes on the gas pier.
