| Double Drowning Wicomico Shores Two people have drowned this evening down by the pier. For unknown reasons a guy jumped in the river off the pier and did not come back up to the surface, at that time another subject jumped in to locate him and he also didnot come back up. I do not know at this time if they have located either subject. |

| Facebook chatter says that both victims were members of the Cobb Island VFD.

| no fb chatter was wrong. they where related, and only one was a member of Cobb Island VFD. He will be surely missed by not only the Fire Dept but the entire community. "Grater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for another" may they both rest in peace. |
