Car accident question? Did anywhere hear anything of a car accident near the GMR & Shangri La intersection late last evening? My Daughter got a call from the hospital from a woman that was involved in this accident to inform her that her best friend was involved as well her friends mother and the caller. My daughters friend spent the night in the hospital from what my daughter tells me. This would be the third accident that I know of in that area this week. I don't usually travel on GMR, but this weeks I witnessed two at the very same intersection. This would be at the least the third. Does this happen everyday there?

| Not sure about how often, I use that interesection 3-4 times a day, but I am pretty sure I know why. When its all green east and west, it's impossible to see past the folks turning left or right, and folks just take the chance. Or it could be that stupid lane offset going north/south, that leads to a lot of confusion.

GMR's "improved" design is a cluster f@ck. The median strip blocks access to businesses and forces U-turns in heavy traffic. I think the sole purpose of the brick pavers on the median was to employ illegals

There was an accident there on the 22nd, could that be it? That was a vehicle vs a pedestrian, though

No, not that one. That was the second one I saw there this week. The first one I saw was on Monday or Tuesday when I was at Big Lots. Got to see them load the cyclist on the stet her while waiting for the light on Thursday. Was heading to Subway for dinner that night.
