A**hat Chesapeake Cab Driver...

Cab #104, when you blew through the red light from Chacellor's Run onto 235 north bound it wasn't even close. After I waited for you to get out of the intersection (and into the center lane) you just had to change your mind and almost wreck me getting back into the left lane. I guess my constant horn blowing and screaming tires weren't enough of a hint to your dumba$$. I don't know whether I'm glad or sad you didn't have a fare at the time. If you had to clean the crap out of the back seat maybe you would be more careful in the future.

What did the cab company say when you called them?

Kind of a non-commital that "we'll take care of it." I had to continue calling them for over 20 minutes before I finally got through. Probably an indication that the driver of cab 104 had to get back to answer the phone.

You probably got the same cab driver. The cab drivers man the phone not a dispatch person. The chances of the problem really reported to the owner are 0 to none.

That's kinda what I figured. I kept getting a recording for over 20 minutes that their operators were helping other customers and I should call back. Get serious...some pi$$ant no-town cab company and their lines are tied up for 20+ minutes. Seriously?????

in the first place, if I am looking to get a cab, that means I have someplace I really need to be. I dont want to wait 20 minutes just to tell them to come get me.
Since Ive never actually taken a cab, Im not sure how long it takes to get one do your door, but Im pretty sure you can get a whole bunch of housework done while waiting for them.

They ran out the other two cab companies we had and I am not sure how as they were more reliable and cheaper.
