You are the perfect citizen for the state to deal with. The proverbial sheep being led to slaughter. Everything is peachy and everyone is equal. It would really benefit you to move to another country for a short time frame and see what life is like outside Pleasantville. Or better yet, I think you should contribute 90% of your income to the state general fund as a donation. As far as even thinking that the rest of us should continue feeding the beast, I can only say #$%^& off!

This does not always work.
If you are coming off of rt 50 onto 424, be careful,
1) when you exit 50, you do not have a speed sign for a few miles after you get onto 424 from 50, so if you dont know that the speed is 45, its pretty easy to assume higher given the 4 lane nature of the road at that point.
2) you are leaving a highway at 65mph, its not uncommon to hit the end of the ramp at 50 or above.

Last Friday I came off of 50, onto 424, Now, as we all know, I like to piss people off with the speed limit. Its just plain fun.

I come off the ramp onto the 45mph area, Im doing 47 according to my GPS. (more accurate than my speedometer)
As I pull off the ramp, there are two police pointing at cars and pulling them to the side. One officer walks out in front of me and pulls me.
remember, my gps was reading 47, my speedometer was right on 45 with the Cruise Control on.
Officer walks up to the window, and without them running radar or any other form of verification he says, I pulled you because you were doing 50 to 55 in a 45, Before I had the chance to start arguing the point he said he was just going to give a warning... Then asked for my license and registration.
He comes back in a bit with the two of them, and a warning for exceeding the limit, yet there was no speed listed for what I was doing.
This was pretty much just a way for them to pull and check people for outstanding warrants, registration issues etc...
I dont have a problem with that at all.

I wasn't how the system is working for the people in power. I was asking how it's working out for the people...

If your research is anything like your research on the Harry Morgan case, i'd say it's lacking. Google searches only give you the most recent information which may not be the correct information. Anybody can write anything in a blog.

He won because all of the lazy people in PG and Montgomery county voted him in because he keeps giving them free stuff.

While simplistic, this is basically true. Put 10 people in a room. 8 make $50k a year. 2 make $150k a year. Vote comes to the floor. Here ye, here ye....all individuals making in excess of $75k a year must pay 90% in taxes. Those making less than $75k pay nothing. Guess what.....the vote is 8 to 2. Majority rules. And even worse this gets twisted into..."The will of the American people have spoken. And in an overwhelming 80% margin, this bill is passed. Now the rest of us can prosper and not be oppressed and discriminated against. Those evil wealthy people will now finally pay their fair share". UFB. You really can only legislate economics and math for so long. Congress can unaminously vote that 2+2 now equals 3, but it aint happening.

I think those who are more fortunate should be forced to give back to those who aren't.
That's better; more truthful.

You seem to be projecting your shortcomings on me. You should have made better choices and maybe you wouldn't be so angry.

If you don't like being forced to help your fellow Americans maybe you should move someplace else while you can still afford to do so.
Not that there's any place else to go that hasn't gone socialist, but you can dream.
