If so, what gate?

Yeah, Gate 3 but they are not blocking any traffic today. I'm guessing someone said something to them.

Gate 3 - but much better behaved. They weren't walking out in front of traffic like yesterday.

But why aren't they striking on 235 in front of Lockheed. I thought the whole point of a strike was to apply public pressure and get attention for their cause. All they are doing is annoying those of us that live south of the gate who don't own media outlets.

Gate 3 does seem like a crappy place to picket.

Does anyone know how much their insurance would have gone up?

They can't do it at gate 2 or 1 because base property goes all the way up to 235. They would have to stand in the middle of 235 which I don't think they would get away with.

Why not at the sidewalk in front of Lockheed on 235? That would make a lot more sense and get them some public attention and make them highly visible.

Right now it's "Oh we are protesting you Gate 3 workers" - um okay, but I'm not on strike and need to get to work. And I don't feel your cause because you have no publicity what so ever so I have no clue why you are screwing up my traffic. Oh that's right, they aren't getting any publicity because they are at Gate 3.

Whomever in that Union that made the decision to strike at the Gates instead of Lockheed is an idiot.

Mig, maybe it's because of the speeds, and the fact that folks heading that way in the AM most likely have no connection with the base? They know that most of the people where they work use Gate 3?

Want to go by and hand out some Cracker Cuts?

I think all I got last year was a 1% bump and we were lucky to even get that. These yahoos should be glad they have a job at all.
