| The cost of the crabs is not settled until the day of the event. Crab prices change day to day and we can't do it in advance or we could lose our shirt. USUALLY the prices for our crabs at this festival are very good, better than market price and are usually good size. We have expanded our hours this year and are open from 11 A.M. until 9 P.M. with three different performers. Southbound will play early, David Norris second and 25th hour band will take us home and to the close. We have great caterers, crafts, moon bounces, live animals and lots more so PLEASE come out and support the Leonardtown Lions Club. Barbeque, soft crabs, crab cakes, ice cream, snow cones, popcorn, and lots more. Come one, Come ALL! This is our biggest fundraiser every year. It lets us give away lots of money to charities every year. This year, we plan on giving away over $50,000 for a variety of charities and for our vision and hearing programs. The majority of that money stays right here in St. Mary's County with donations to Hospice, the Fire Department, Rescue Squad, hospital, Vacations for Vets, Wounded Warriors, shop with a cop, youth baseball, scholarships, vision and hearing screenings and us providing glasses or hearing aids to a lot of people that cannot afford this on their own. We cannot do that without your help!!! So, please come on out and join us for a great day of fun, cool drinks of all kinds, hot crabs and all kinds of other food and entertainment! See you on Saturday!
