That is all.
I just had this conversation with one of my employees a couple days ago. I am also trying to teach my 12 year old how to count AND hand back change. The piling of the coins on top of the bills is a pet peeve of mine!!

I used to do this when I worked at GNC. Sorry if you were ever my customer and wanted to punch me in the face. I probably wanted to punch you in the face just as badly.

If I remember correctly, you would send children into the store from the gym to manipulate and annoy me.

I'd borrow the kids from daycare to pick up chicks... don't be mad at it... it worked a few times.

Backfired too...

That happened once when hubby gave the cashier the extra change to try and make it easier for her to make change. She looked confused and was certain he was trying to flim-flam her. He never could convince her he wasn't even after he painstakingly explained it to her!

I do have to say when I cashier (I can count change LOL) it is annoying when the customer wants to "make it easier for me". It's usually after I've already got the change out, have a line and just want to get them thru the line. It's easier for me to just give you what I have already counted and get you out. I kind of go into robot mode when it's super busy and there are lines. In the grocery stores, the cashiers are timed on each transaction from beginning to end.
