I hate Double T only because there's so much on the menu it's hard to decide.

We've gone to Happy's Diner twice. Yes, they are a little disorganized but they are still working out the kinks. I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was very tasty.

I think it's very easy, no one else around here sells corned beef hash, so it that with eggs and potatoes. If I'm very hungry they have a matzo ball soup that's just right, salty with garlicy aftertaste.

Thank you for making us aware of another small business that has moved into the area! Today, before a big shopping trip to the grocery store, dgates80 & I went to Happy's. We were greeted by a cheerful & friendly older gentleman who was personable enough to make us want to come back even if the food sucked.
The food didn't suck. It was good! There were large portions and was cooked as we asked.
What the setting may lack in ambience, was made up for by this gentleman's wit and friendliness AND the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Hoooray for small businesses!
ICit and BOP like this.

I'll check it out when I get back from the holidays.

It will be nice to have another option than The Frying Pan (not that they're bad).

The last time I was at The Frying Pan they were out of corned beef hash.

That is the owner, Hasan. He goes by "Happy" & moved here from Turkey about 30 years ago.

He sold cars at the Chrysler dealer in Lex. Pk. after his other diner closed down & has been a Realtor for a few years.
