Hero of the day!

Last weekend, 2 men from the DC area entered the CVS pharmacy in Solomons with an empty shopping bag which they used to push in the window for the ink cartridges. They proceeded to load up the bag w/ $1500 worth of cartridges and ran out of the store. The manager chased them on foot and someone yelled in a deep voice "drop the bags" and they did (heehee). They proceeded to run into the Ruddy Duck parking lot; where a person that had been in CVS had driven to and was able to show the cops where they were hiding.
They wait straight to jail on felony charges and in addition; one for lying about his identity (because he had outstanding warrants)
Turns out, they are being linked to many other smash and grabs at CVS pharmacies from VA, MD and DC.
It is against policy for anyone from CVS to chase thieves and she may actually get disciplined for this. In my books she is a big hero and got a couple worthless pos thugs off the streets.
When asked if she was scared they may have had a gun- he said it really never occured to her. The adreline was flowing and she wanted to make sure they didn't get away with it.

The news just said Delaware as well. Over $30,000 worth of merchandise!
One was also carrying CDS- crack cocaine. Imagine that!

Over $30k? Glad the dumb thugs were caught. Maybe they'll think twice about coming down to somd as they continue on with their "careers".

A slap on the hand and they're out again. Probably could have cared less about being caught.

They will see how lenient the courts are down here and bring their friends in on the gig.
