I think we've been out once for New Years, and we stayed at a hotel. That was a very long time ago. Unfortunately a one couple we went out with got loaded and fought the entire time

We enjoy staying home! We'll have good drinks and good food. We' ll probably let the kids stay up a little later too

That reminds me, I need to head to the liquor store before the drunks are out

We were invited out......dinner, drinks, music......looked up the band.....not really into listening to classic country all night (think Conway, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, etc.)

Hubby has to work so it'll be me and Captn. Morgan riinging in the New Year. That is if she and I can make it till midnight. She usually falls asleep before I do. No biggie if I dont see it come in, there were plenty of NYE's in my younger years that I have fond memories of.

Hey, I'm outta here.

I just wanted to wish all of you a Happy New Year!

Have an enjoyable evening ringing in the new year and keep it safe.

If you're drinkin', don't drive!
Set up a designated driver now. Or sleep over at a friend's place. Or have a cab take you home. Don't harm yourself or anyone else.

See you all in 2013!

It was sleeting pretty good a bit ago here in Mechanicsville. Like you, I enjoy staying home myself. We've done the going out thing in the past & that was fun back then but now... well, not so much. My husband and I went to Dover Downs with a couple that fought the entire time and it was miserable. Needless to say, they were tossed from our list of ever hanging out with them again.
