Why I hate the California USPS

If I could some out opt out of having access to the USPS, I would.

A package was sent to us using USPS (not our choice). They "missed" us on Christmas Eve even though we were home and no one needs to sign for the package. We got one of those "we will redeliver" notes with no information on it except an illegible article number that I can't make work on their website. I ASSumed they would be "redelivering" today, so I waited alllllll day for the mail to come (ours doesn't come until very late in the day). The mail came, no package. So I look up the phone number, call the local USPS, and was told.....

their "redeliver" notice actually means that you have to come to the post office to pick it up even though it clearly states "we will redeliver".

Ok. Rant over. Probably. I could go on and on about how they've often wronged us in the past.

You are in CA and all you can rant about is the poor service from the post office?
(which by the way, I do have to agree with you on this one)

Meh, it's what's currently bothering me. You should've seen the line at the Post Office! It was packed!

Of course, the line could've been so long because they move at the infuriating speed of ridiculously slow.

move too fast a people can get hurt.
people get hurt they sue.

its a safety precaution, you should appreciate it. Just learn spanish and get to know the people standing in line next to you,, or behind the counter working.
