FYI: This applies to homeowners whom have never filed for this OR if it has been 5 years. Since I have only owned my home since April 2009, I didn't know if there was something new involved or had changed since I applied.

I checked my status on the Md Real Property Search. Either I never did this, or something happened because it says I don't have this on file.

I will mail it today.

I don't remember having applied but the database says mine was approved in 2009.

My husband mailed the application in September. The status in the database says that no application is on file. I guess I will send in another.

When I try to print one it tells me I need an access number. I think I am just missing something.

You can apply online at the dat.state.md.us website! You get an email confirmation of your application, which gives you some peace of mind that it has actually been received.
