What time do you eat your evening meal?

It seems we are eating more around 4:00 lately. The kids come home from school starving because they do not get enough time at lunch to eat. If I feed them a snack no one is hungry for dinner but they are all starving at bed time. I just bumped dinner up and let them have a snack before bed if they get hungry.

It depends on the schedule I am working. When I'm working the early shift, I like to be in bed and asleep by 8pm so I like to eat around 4. When I am working lates, I like to be in bed and asleep by 2am so I like to eat around 10.

The 6pm event starts used to make me crazy too when the kids were young. You gotta rush home and throw some food at them, then rush them out the door to their whatever. Or they end up snacking and we have to stop by Subway on the way home at 8pm (which is what we usually ended up doing).

Now it doesn't matter because it's just me and I eat when I please, but that kid/feeding/event thing used to drive me wild.

Football practice started at 5:30 and it was so hard on me. I'm thankful that the older 2 are in the taekwondo after school program now and it's over by time I come down the road.
