Put my vote in for Tequila Grill.

Whenever I get back from TX I have to get re-acclimated to what passes for Mexican food around here. It's not so much the menu items as it is the cooking method, seasoning, and accompaniments. I think TG comes closest to what you get in places with real Mexicans.

You all should know that TG is owned by the same couple who own Fiesta. Menus a bit different, not as much to my taste as Fiesta, but still great. Like the difference between the 300 SRT and the Charger SRT.

The owners of Tequilla Grill own Fiesta Cafe, the menu's are not identical but very close to each.

That is Tequilla Grill in Charlotte Hall, Fiesta Cafe is in Mechanicsville

Next to the food lion and the hardware store there, Tequilla Grill

And both Tequilla Grill and Fiesta Cafe are the BEST mexican places to eat in SOMD, hands down... those who say it isnt good do not know what they are talking about! I grew up in arlington va, which in the last 10 years I lived there turned into mainly spanish/mexican decent, and I have had all kinds of spanish/mexican food! Fiesta/Tequilla are the best I've ever had! period
