The 11:55pm Nanjemoy Shotgun Blasters

I want to thank my neighbors here in Nanjemoy for waking up our entire household with their irresponsible and illegal shotgun blasts at 11:55pm last night. Know that in the future I will not bother to very loudly remind you that this is a G*****n NEIGHBORHOOD not your personal F****** firing range, nor will I hesitate to phone ChasCo's Finest to personally extend to them an invitation to your festivities: I'm sure they will be very interested in your distinguished service to the Nation, to this community and to the Lord...And they will likely not advise me to watch my G******language in light of your F****** stupidity. And stay offa my lawn...And where'd my flying monkeys go? They are always off on a lark when I need them.

Takes a little work

Take two metal fence post cement them in the ground on each side of the drive. Stretch aircraft cable between the two poles.

I knew a friend that had a problem with the neighborhood kids getting their kicks knocking and bashing mailboxes off the posts. Every Friday or saturday night. Eventually he filled it with cement.

He said you could hear them coming Bang, Bang, Bong glass smashing. wheels squeeling,

They were using a metal baseball bat, the bat hit the box broke is arm smashed the rear door glass out of the car. They don't do that any more either.

While I sympathize with the person who's property is being torn up, setting what amounts to a booby trap could end up costing them more money than the repairs.

You can do a lot of things until someone gets injured. Not sure which chapter and verse it's in, but I've been told that you can't booby trap your property.

You can put a gate across the driveway, you could put a cable across as long as it was visible. But you can't put something that's designed more to injure than deter entry.

Just because it's private property doesn't mean people aren't gong to enter the lane accidentally
