This man is an idiot. When will he ever give a stiff enough sentence to fit the crime?

A Lexington Park man has been sentenced to a year in jail after pleading guilty to the second-degree assault on a three-year-old child. The sentence for David Clements, 28, was handed down Monday in St. Mary’s County Circuit Court by Judge David Densford. The judge suspended nine years of the overall 10-year sentence.

Assistant State’s Attorney Daniel White asked for 18 months in jail for Clements and for him to have no contact with the victim. But Judge Densford said Clements, as the father, had some rights, and he was not going to prevent him from having supervised contact with the child, if she and her mother can be found.

“You are so close to being someone who needs to be off the street,” Judge Densford said of Clements’ behavior.

Oh he won't. He'll be serving his sentence at the SMCDC and will most likely be out in a few months because of his good boy behavior.

And it's not like this should shock any of his loyal supporters. We talked about it for months before the election.

Effing Democrats will vote for anyone with a D after their name. Densford needs to be removed from the bench and disbarred.

What can I say. The MAJORITY of the voters of St. Mary's elected him to office. As to the sentence, I have found that what get's reported by the media and what really happened is 2 differnet stories.
