Worker at base McDonalds

There is a woman that's working the second window at the McDonald's on Pax River that's very pleasant. I've been there twice in the past couple of weeks to pick up some surprise breakfast for my busy husband and she's been there both times.

I generally find that uncharacteristic of McDonald's workers in this area. In fact, I once told my husband that I would never return to McDonald's, ESPECIALLY the base McDonald's, because of the employees. So, I thought it was worth bragging on someone for not only doing their job but doing it well and pleasantly.

If I remember correctly, they have an email or phone number posted on a sign for comments/suggestions. Maybe get her name next time and leave a nice comment.

Why don't you make him breakfast at home before he leaves for his busy day?

In general, I find the on base McDonald's to be ridiculously slow. Slower than any McDonald's I've been to IN THE WORLD (including Saudi Arabia, UK, Germany & Turkey).

I hope I run into this person if I ever go there again....

I leave the house hours before him. He doesn't usually care for breakfast when he first gets up and he always sleeps in as late as he possibly can so then he rushes to get out the door. I pack extra food in his lunch in case he gets hungry but we also sometimes try to meet up for a late breakfast or lunch.

This sounds like it came from me - except I was getting myself breakfast - not my husband.

I agree - there is a nice woman there - probably the same woman. The ironic thing is that before her there was this nasty woman who had such an attitude - but I think she left for maternity leave - I hope she decides to be a stay at home mom.

I don't think I have high expectations - I try to put into perspective where I am and what I am looking for. The problem is now - that you do get some really good treatment now and again and it spoils you.

I have not been back in a while but if I do I am going to make note of this person and be sure to let their supervisor know they are doing a good job. I always try to commend good service - instead of the other way around. Thanks for posting.

Actually I have to agree! It seems there has never been a time which I placed an order and had fast service and always had to wait a good 15 to 20 minutes. One employee isn't going to change the whole crew's bad habits. Not sure why other McD's are faster, but it just seem better organization at the other McDs. It must be like the rest of the base... bad management!
