| Be careful on Facebook My checking account had 2 unauthorized $100 Paypal transfers to Starbucks! I think it happened when I wished people Happy Birthday on Jan 25th. (notice a Starbucks link under birthday comment when you click on thier name) I researched and found scams/fraud with FB, Starbucks, Tim Hortons and Paypal. Paypal is investigating. I removed all my information from Paypal and changed ALL my passwords. My bank, USAA said they will fight Paypal if they don't reslove it. Time to pull a credit report too!  |

| Most likely doesn't have a fully patched system and took advantage of a vulnerability in java, ie, or flash. The linked loaded malware on his system that captured his keystrokes. bcp and afjess1989 like this. |

| My checking account is not linked to Facebook. FB has scammers using Starbucks, Tim Hortons, etc. My checking was linked to paypal though- not anymore. I'm saying becareful on FB because that is the only place I recall seeing Starbucks. When you're on the FB home page, in the upper right you can see birthdays, when you click to wish a happy b-day you'll see a link to give a starbucks gift. I wished 2 people happy birthday the day the transaction took place. I did not authorize payment or click on any links to Starbucks. |

| I have seen the Starbucks link - it's when a friend has a birthday and you click to send them a note, the link is there. Sounds like OP has purchased something from FB before - like for a game or something. FB is linked to PayPal, which is linked to his checking account. |
