| Wash Post coupon thief Been having problems for a couple of years with someone raiding my Washington Post paper box. It is always the Saturday paper which is when they deliver the Sunday coupon package. After I complained about a year ago they started putting the paper in a plastic bag and tying the end. Then they just took the whole thing, which meant I lost the Saturday paper along with the parts of the Sunday paper they deliver on Saturday. They have gotten kinder lately and just tear a hole in the bag and take the coupon package. Are people so hard-up they have to do this? Or maybe they are so addicted to coupons they can't help themselves. I am in the CRE and my paper box is on Catalina. |

| If they can't deliver to your house, I'd cancel and pick up a paper at the store instead. I surely wouldn't be paying for something I wasn't getting.

| I had this issue shortly after I started receiving the paper at home. It also tended to happen on weekends when there were more coupon inserts. My carrier now puts our paper in our mailbox rather than our newspaper box, which so far seems to have deterred them. Although now that I have put that out there, I may eat my words. |

| Check with some of your friends/family. If any of them hunt - particularly deer hunt - see if any of them have a game/trail camera they could set for you temporarily. They are battery powered cameras that can be strapped to a tree or post that take a picture - even at night when triggered by a motion sensor. sm8 likes this. |
