My new thing, which I am trying to remember to do, is the playing like you are shooting at them finger. Old reactions die hard though.

The light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman behind him was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, ''I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do?' bumper sticker, the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me To Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk, so naturally...I assumed you had stolen the car.''

Well unfortunately, that particular lane ends at the bridge, no excuse exists for someone to leave the road from the left lane to the left shoulder and pass someone. None whatsoever. Endangering other drivers because youre impatient and too stubborn to change lanes all because you think that lane is for speeders is a really stupid excuse. I prefer all morons should leave the world the same way they showed up, screaming and all alone.

I took the comment as those who Hang Out in the left lane as those going slower than the "flow". Passing slower traffic on the right is inherently more unsafe and from a statistical point is probably responsible for more road rage than any other act on the road

I love hanging in the left lane.
I like to do it at 5 to 10 under the speed limit then pretend every retard that comes up behind me is TommyBoy.

Agreed with High, the comment in question wasn't specifically aiming at your situation, that left lane is not one of two travel lanes, it is the only travel lane at that point. And so slower traffic keeping right isn't an option. We all know what the truly dangerous driving behaviors are, as does the Sheriff and commander of the local Barrack. Call and ask why this particular one isnt being looked at.
