The morning in question, "flow" in the left lane was at 65, which apparently wasnt fast enough for this person, and I dont even have to guess that leaving the road from the left lane to what little shoulder remains to pass the car in front is just pure stupidity. Plain and simple. Im not at all concerned with what causes a person to play chicken (obviously what this person was doing at the time), and is it is deemed safer- why not just do it then? Save everyone some unneeded pain and suffering or worse.

Not sure why I was thrown under the bus on this one and for whatever reason called a name.......not making reference to right before the bridge. In general, on Rt.4 and 235 leading up to Waldorf, too many ppl hang out in the left lane. Even Driver's Ed. teaches you that the left lane is for passing or turning, not for cruising speed or just too piss others off.

I moved here from the Midwest a couple of years ago, and I thought it was bad there..........doesn't hold a candle to this place.
