Oh, that's why there were not many people down there! I saw one guy walking the shoreline looking for mannos, but all he was finding was frozen oysters...

Wish I had saved the ones I took of the horizontal icicles on the power pole support lines, etc. from back around 86. That was awesome.

Too bad there wasn't the saturation of digital cameras and cellphones back in '79 when the Bay froze over and there were some fantastic ice shots everywhere you looked.

That was awesome! I will never forget riding to Pt. Lookout with my paps and seeing those huge chunks of ice. As a kid, I reckoned them to be at least 12" thick.
