Another crash...

On rte 4 n. this morn. at the power plant again.
They need to make the intersection no turn on red and stop the blinking red.
Maybe them asses will wake up and clean their glasses.

My friend's husband was in that accident. From what I was told, a truck pulled out in front of him, and he had no chance to stop. As of an hour ago, he was still hospitalized....

I was almost the 3rd car involved in that accident. I was just pulling out of the access road to head north. I watched the whole thing.
I got out the car and ran over to him, he was trying to get out his car and I made him stop. I held his hand and talked to him trying to keep him alert. He was going into shock and sweating. I took my coat off and wrapped it around him. He scared me a couple times. The fumes in the car were awful. We opened the passenger side door to get some air.
Is he alright?
It was the trucks fault. I agree that they should discontinue that blinking red arrow.

Still waiting to hear....he is a dear person, with 9 wonderful children, and just became a grandfather over the weekend...

At one point he almost passed out on me and I kept talking to him and squeezing his hands, and grabbing his face to look at me!
I felt so sorry for him, I cried my whole drive home!

I don't know any of you and I don't live anywhere near the site, but this touches me. Thank you for doing what you did. I know you probably don't think you did anything extraordinary, but...well...it is profound for me - someone completely disconnected from the event. So I can only touch the fringes of imagination of what your kindness must mean to his family.
