Wireless coverage in Piney Point

I have Verizon Wireless and the phone works fine in Lexington Park, but when I head down Piney Point road I lose service around Tall Timbers. I took the phone into the Verizon store and the tech rep there said that Piney Point was a "fringe" area and didn't have good coverage. The Verizon coverage map indicates I should get reception there but I don't.

My question is does anyone live in that area that uses a cell phone and has good reception.

Sometimes if you hold your left foot in the air while holding your right hand straight out in front of you you might get a signal but you have to do this while standing on a step stool.

Sometimes if you go to the boat ramp you can get a great signal or even in the Evans parking lot. Other than that your pretty much sol.

You are out of luck. There was talk of a tower across the river this year. That would increase signal strength, but have not heard anything more about it being put up.

New here so I don't know if this is being done right. However, ATT/Cingular wireless has great coverage in the Valley Lee/Drayden area.

Not until you get past Chiefs place though, around the Valley Lee Firehouse.
