Question neat forum!! & woodstoves

Just want to say that I'm amazed at the willingness of forum members to share ideas & info! Ah, would that all communities had such!

Now, I need professional installation of a woodstove. A couple of places that had been suggested seem to have gone out of business. The chimney was cleaned and inspected last year. Bought a used stove that does not match up with the chimney hole. Some sort of adjustments and/or pipe modifications are needed and I'm not about to try it!

Suggestions, please?
thanks

Did you try Seasonal distributors in waldorf? I'm not positive they do woodstoves, but wouldn't hurt to call and see. 301-705-1900

Try Chesaspeak Chimney Sweeps in Mechanicsville. They do repairs and installations.

Your link doesn't work. Try this one instead:

www.chesapeakechimneysweeps.com

Also, they're out of Prince Frederick, not Mechanicsville.

They installed the chimney in my new house for the woodstove we brought from our old house.
