How many of you live in St. Mary's and commute to D.C.?

It darn well better count, it's WORSE than commuting TO D.C., I go all the way to Metro Center on the bus and then metro it all the way back out of D.C. to the Silver Spring Metro. I'd kill (figuratively speaking) to work downtown.

There are also about 15 buses leaving charlotte hall every 12 minutes (approx), picking up in Waldorf, and trekking into DC ... M-F ... SHEEIT, you should see the 4:30a.m. (when it leaves C.H.) bus. It starts in Cali. and arrives with 10-15 people on it, gets another 20-30 and then goes to Waldork and fills and STILL leaves 15-20 people standing at the stop.

to answer your damn question- i did not create the id to mess with people. i am not going to sit in here and explain myself to a bunch of people with nothing better to do than mess with me. i am new at all of this and i just use it as some way to occupy my time when it's slow at work. all i've been is nice to everyone in here. as a matter of fact, i've given you both good karma. but, whatever. you will notice that i will never post with the id that i created for my son. at this point i'm sick of arguing with people who just aren't worth it anymore. i've tried to stay nice the past couple of days that i've been posting but you've managed to make that impossible. add all of the red boxes that you want. it's the least of my concerns. it's going to be a shame when you lose everyone in here because people are sick of the way that you act. i have several friends that used to come in here all of time and they don't anymore. they warned me not to waste my time because of all of the aholes in here. should've listened, but i didn't think that people whould act this way to someone as sweet and caring as me. for now-

i have no idea what this site even offers. i just assumed that there would be groups in here. i haven't searched around yet. i just wish that people would mine their own business in here. i personally don't think that it's any of your business if i created an id for my son. excuse the hell out of me for being a proud and happy mommy

Yeah, but the rules say you have to be 13 to join the forums. If there are groups here, they are for parents to participate in in their kid's behalfs. Your kid can't read, can't type, can't walk, talk or even see from across the room. It's not like he's going to find other 3-month olds to make friends with. No one is jumping on you, you are freaking out for nothing. No one is even getting on your case for letting your kid use the internet, we don't really believe that is happening. We are just confused about why you'd feel the need to create and ID for your baby, and by extension, he must have an email address too. It's a curiosity question, we are wondering what you are thinking about. If you were thinking it'd be neat to create an MPD, and you were playing with that, that's an explaination, but the next question would be, why not create one that wasn't so obviously connected to you. No need to get all uptight.

They are on the same pay scale ... but ya see, I'm not the Base Commander's daughter, and I don't sleep with her.

I was in the Air Force vs. the Navy and don't do jets or computers ... so my options on the base are EXTREMELY limited. I've tried, was unsuccessful ... so be it.

I'm not biatching, like I said ... but some folks think you can just walk into a job on the base (or the government) if you were in the military and that's not always the case. Having served in the military does have some advantages, but depending on what your objective is, it also could be of little to no help. Depends on the job ...
