first off im not a ricer, i know running 13s has nothing to do with it... But its the only thing i can say with numbers... "I CAN TAKE A 77 DEGREE TURN AT 63 AND MAKE IT!!! OMG DRiFT)@)@)@" My friends and I enjoy working on cars, we enjoy being able to say my car can beat yours and we have proof... And when i think of rices i think of people who brag about the grounding kit, muffler tip, fart can, spoiler, decals, their 'kill list' on the street, driver nearly laying down in his seat with all show-no go... They usualy drive like douches as well... I have never recieved a ticket, I have never put a decal on a car, my car is -stock- asside from the CD player I put in it (who uses tapes?). Its more of a thing where my friends and i see what we can do, if we can make a car which runs 17s run 13s, we are more than happy, if we can improve our performance at an autocross competition awesome. If I can beat my friends in autocross using the same car, i make fun of them... You want to goto an autocross event or what ever and my friends and i are there feel free to make fun of our stupidity, we wont care. We will probably call you a moron and go back to what ever we were doing and continue having fun, even if you think we suck at it...Atleast we arent putting others at risk by street racing or speeding through neighborhoods.

LOL he is making fun of the fact that you have no clue what your talking about. When you go to the Auto X what class do you run in. Hell where is the nearest auto x you run in? miata's are best when they are left in stock form to run the course as it has a better advantage of the other cars in the stock class. Just like the neon ACR which ruled the class for a couple years. In Auto X its not about HP it all about suspension, tires and driver skill to beat the clock. wake up and pay attention to what you are typing and people wouldnt give you such a hard time.

What does all-show have to do with anything? I happen to think the 6th gen Accord Coupe in your last link (quoted above) looks hot, if the taillights were stock it would be...but the taillights don't flow at all with the rest of the car.

NOW, if the person who owned it said that he races it or did a burn-out to show it off, or somethign else to that mentality, he would be a ricer.

You come of f as a ricer to me. I don't give crap WHAT you think or do, it' swhat you say and what comes off to people.

For example. You drive a Miata and use a BMW emblem as an avatar? Making me feel that you want people to believe you have class or something? This is common ricer "I got something that you have...ok, not really, but I read about it once and I want one" mentality.

Secondly, to prove a point to me, you HAD to tell me soemthign with numbers...ok...why? If you had simply said somethign that made an inkling of sense, I wouldn't have bothered...but you claimed to be making a Miata a 13s dragster that will eat up the auto-x.

Anyway, the point is that you do NOT drive a sports car, you do NOT have aplatofrm that is even ABLE to speed on the highway, let alone line up with anything at a light, and you DID get called out badly for having a ricer mentality.

I am a BMW fan boy, I have driven several BMWs, i want to own one some day and both of my parents drive them... and we all know BMWs are made in an asian country as well, making them rice. I didnt claim that i was making my miata anything, i said when i get a new car i want to do work to it making it better. Its not in perfect running condition, it is a 12 year old car. That could all change if I dont find a car that I like before i need to be out on my own supporting myself, if i suddenly need to spend my money on something else, of if my job plans dont go through. I want the miata to be fast and handle well, and it already handles well. If i do end up doing that I will make it quick then do more work to the suspension and what not. People ARE lining up with [stock under the hood] neons, BMW 318s (saw an E30 one a few days ago with a BMW racing decal across the windshield... what a moron), escorts, etc... at the light. If they can line up, a miata surely could as well.

Spring Break I plan on substitute teaching... Over the summer im trying to get a paid internship with the state department or office of the secretary of defense, I had a job for 2 years then i left to goto school, management changes and confusion prevented me from getting it back over the holidays, but yes i did save up enough for gas and any routine maitenance on the car along with spending money for school. To be honest, I didnt even want the miata, i was more than happy with my 95 buick century... I went to school parents sold it and got my sister a car, now im stuck with a 2 seater with no trunk space ;\


then again i cant complain because i didnt have to pay for either of them, just gas insurance and maintain them
