Chiropractor Recommendations?

Please list your experiences with local chiropractors, including their rates and availability.

If you use a medical insurance plan, please state how the billing worked for you.

Thanks!

Henry Chiropractic

Don't recall the rates and my current insurance doesn't pay for chiropractic care.

They also have PT and massage.

Marlboro Spine & Orthopedic. Dr. Todd. (Upper Marlboro) Good People. Reasonable rates. Dunno about insurance.

Henry Chiropractic is I have BCBS and it cost me approximately $6 for each appointment. I had some trouble getting in to see my doctor because of my work schedule conflicting with their hours, and they are usually swamped between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

I go to Dr. Alexander. He is awesome. I have had zero problems dealing with them using insurance and without. The rate for a visit is $40.00 without insurance. I highly reccomend him. He has an office on Solomon's Island and an associate office in Lexington Park.

Hubby uses Dr. Klein in Waldorf. As far as the insurance (MD-IPA) goes, ours is kinda complicated. The first few visits are only like $20 and then after so many it goes up to some percentage. All I know is he goes to much for the insurance sake, but the doctor's office is cool. As long as he pays them once in a while they don't bug us about it.

Dr Alexander is offering a special right now that costs only $42 (compared to $220) for the initial evaluation. I saw the coupon in valu-pak this month. I was hoping someone from the forum would recommend him. I have BC/BS and will check with them to see if they will pay him for the visits too. Thanks.

I live in St Leonard so Solomons is pretty convenient to me!

does the majority still recommend Henry Chiropractic? Do they have a website- that says what insurances they take? Ever since the concert- I messed up my lower back- and it hurts like a you know what- and I need to have it looked at and taken care of. It hurts to bend- and stand up. I would think if it was a disc- it would be worse. But- its on either side of my lower back- near my tail bone area.

Anyway- just wanted to find someone soon. Been dealing with this crap for 2 weeks...and I cant live off of high strength motrin anymore.
