Kinda makes sense - nobody will have to play the guessing game about whether or not (or when) to be ready for the little ones. This also keeps the busses off the roads. I know it seems extreme, but around here the best rule is, better safe than sorry.

When I got up about 5:15, (before you posted this) we had a pretty good dusting and it was coming down fast, here in St. Mary's county.

We've gotten about a half inch in the last 45 minutes or so.
