Ticks

Has anyone else noticed a bunch of these already this year? I'm not sure if this is because we've relocated since last year or if there are actually MORE ticks than every before.

How do you manage to get ticks when you're inside all day and night racking up them 17 thousand posts?

I was outdoors, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and not posting here. You didn't notice I was gone.

Mr. nottoofarbehindme, with 14,000 some post, and you have less forum time.

I think and have heard that's it's because of all the mild weather. We didn't have a hard winter to kill them off.

I would suggest you keep them on it year round. I have always done so with my dogs while living here--simply for the reason I stated above. JMO

As soon as the night temp goes above freezing - I start the preventative - but the girls are vaccinated against Lymes as well. The same goes for their heartworm preventative and so on - meaning, I start before I see mosquitoes..
