| I work for an attorney who prefers "towards." I always thought toward was the correct usage. After he insisted contintually that he wanted to use "towards" I did some research. It is perfectly correct to use towards. And he doesn't sound ignorant at all. http://www.iolani.honolulu.hi.us/Kea.../Letters/T.htm http://www.drgrammar.org/faqs/ I have other pages printed out at work but I'm on vacation this week.

Either way, I think it sounds ignorant ... simply b/c there is no use for the 's' at the end.

I don't find that funny at all. It's horrible that you would insinuate such a thing. ![]() | |
