Warm crabs seems to be the consensus. thanks for the opinions folks. any other votes out there, I got one thumbs up for both Cpt Pats and for H Gass seafood. who wants to break the tie?

I prefer mine HOT/WARM.

I'd be upset if the crabs were cold...yuck.

Your way down yonder so I dont know of any spots there.

But in waldorf there are at least 6 spots that sell good crabs

Definitely warm, though you seem to have figured that by the other responses by now.



I certainly would recommend H.Gass if you have an inclination to purchase them pre-steamed, though depending on the size of your gathering (and ergo, the amount of crabs you'll be needing), it may actually be cheaper to buy them fresh off the crab boats down at one of the local marinas and steam them yourself. That way you can do a bit of quality control, and make certain that the obligatory can of beer is added to the pot.
