You know, I would like it if one time - one time! - a gay person could come on here, mention they were gay in passing, and it not turn into a whole thread about homosexuality. Had we all ignored Hessian's comments, that would have been the end of it.

And another thing:

The forums are not a meat market singles bar. If you come on with some cheap, sleazy personal ad, expect to have your ass flamed, and rightfully so. In fact, I'll be first in line to light the match. You start off getting to know people and joining the discussions, not trying to get your pathetic self laid. If that's your MO, no wonder you can't get a date.

Vrai this hurts me to my heart, I am not pathetic or trying to get laid more like paid but not from being laid. Plus, I am half serious when I speak of dating life in SMD. I put in more lip service about it than actual effort to doing so (sorry guys, I'm a fraud when it comes to this).

Though I do believe that southern maryland is not really dater friendly because everyone is married, I definitely don't see it as a problem to me in such a crucial way.

I'll admit my first thread/post was about dating, I really should have done some research on what the forums were like (full of married folk) before posting. So, now I just enjoy topics that are neutral like shopping, pets, etc.

Besides, I thought we were buds why you always come back with that knife trying to stab me <<< I was going to post the "smack" smiley but then I thought about it, no one has ever hit Vrai, why is this?
