Oh for god's sake. Get over yourself already. He didn't "advertise" it, he just asked about social groups for gays. What that tells me is that he's not interested in hanging around with people like you, therefore you've got nothing to worry about.

And on a side note, I've always thought that gay bashing was a sign of latent homosexuality. Why else would someone get all bent out of shape over something that doesn't concern them, unless it threatened their own sexuality?

Good points Vrai I have met many lesbian women from the area but not any openly gay men. Hence my question regarding gender in the beginning. I hope he and his partner can find some friends with commom interests to do things with.
