Your parents (or brother in law if your sister was married) will be given a report and they can share that with you.

When my sister and husband were in a crash, we first went to the hospital, then later to the police station where we were given a full written report.

I am sorry for your loss.

The police report will tell you where the wreckage was towed. My sister's accident was just above Bowie and the wreckage ended up down in Waldorf. your family will need to go to the car to get any personal effects that remain in the vehicle. Please do NOT go alone. And realize that seeing the car, may upset you even more. I'm sorry no one is home with you now. Is there any family member, friend, or neighbor you could be with right now? I think you need someone. Age has no bearing when dealing with the death of a loved one. Don't be embarrassed to be upset.

She is in shock. We all grieve differently. You need information. She needs time.
