There's more expensive ones, even thru Ford, that reprogram your key FOB. I just told them to install it, and I'll deal with having two FOBs, one to start it and one for the locks and alarm. I love it though.

I'll have to look into it (that would really piss off MyLittlePony, since she's always wanted one). thanks

If you don't put the key in it within 10 minutes of starting, it shuts itself off.

I've had several people in the past leave work before me, walk all the way out into the parking lot, and walk ALL the way back, just to tell me that my truck was running.

Stupid law... Invasion of rights! I start my car will always do it... I think it's just another way of generating income, just in case they need it. Will never effect my decisions....

Missing the Point!

To everyone bashing the law.... You are all missing the point of the law. The intent is to prevent and mitigate the possibility of the commission of a crime.

If you we involved in a rape, home invasion, or similar violent crime and the four or five police in the area were involved in a chase or follow-up of a stolen vehicle busy some moron made their car an easy mark for theft, you're going to be the one blaming the po-po for taking ten minutes to get to you in your time of need....

Go ahead, give me the negative karma. I live for it.

I guess you forgot that driving was a privilege, not a right.... And as goes with any privilege, it can be taken away, when abused.

With our starter, if a key is not in within 10 minutes it shuts off.

Sorry but I totally disagree. Stupid if they write you up in your driveway in your nice neighborhood but not stupid if you walk out of 7-11 and can't find your car. I would have to laugh at ya!!
