I had the pork chops from there New Years Eve.. I though they were great.. Much better than the ones at Outback..IMO...
As chain restaurants go... Appleby's is the only one I ever really liked. I can take my kids there and the food is dependably edible.
Outback has never appealed to me. I prefer small private places most of the time.... I like Willow's..

BTW.. I heard that the Linda Linda's Cafe has bought out the Willows...Is there any truth to that?

I like Applebees better also. I had a Miller Lite at Damons and it was not bad although it was in a 12 oz bottle and i had to get a second mortgage to pay for it.

This is 10oz country

I prefer Damon's over any of the other chain restaurant's in this area. I've always received good service and the food was excellent. Of course, I wouldn't go there for barbeque.

The place doesn't thrill me. I've gone there a few times to meet with somebody for lunch. I wouldn't go there otherwise. The food was okay, but I don't think much of their menu in the first place.

What *really* ruined it for me with their wings was when I asked if they could make them without the breading - and the waiter told me that that's the way they come frozen in the bag. Ewwww. If I wanted them that way, I'd just buy 'em from Giant like that.

But almost every other time, we have enjoyed Damon's, especially if we eat in the little room up front. We've rarely had bad service there, either.

I worked at the Damon's in Waldorf for a couple years. My husband adores the spring rolls. The pulled pork sammich is yummy. The ribs really are great and I LOVE the wings. The Long Islands are great too, but cost an arm and a leg. The buffalo chicken sammich is too.

I live around the corner from Damon's (as does everyone in LP) when coming home I love the smell of the restaurant. I have been only once and I was really impressed at the tv screens with the radio on the table as with the children's coloring mats and half circle booths. The bathrooms I heard were not that great but the food pretty much was enjoyable. Of course that was in May and I dont remember too much. Best to go to check it out for yourself.

Did something happen in May for you to lose your memory?
