I love the crockpot but like you, I often forget to the night before and am in a rush in the morning....

I cooked Chili in the crockpot this weekend, I do that frequently. Then there is enough for 2 days.
Beef Stew in the crock pot
I also put a roast, with bay leaves, seasonings and beef broth (or cream of mushroom soup instead of beef broth, it makes its own gravy) potatos (I just wash and cut, I don't peel) and baby carrots.

I know its hard....Someone just sent me a recipe tree where you have 2 peoples names on a list, send them your favorite recipe w/ 2 more names at the bottom (kind of like a chain letter) and then you get recipes from everyone. I am trying to figure out if hamburger helper counts as a recipe? Sometimes I feel all we eat are prepared or boxed food.

We're hooked on those meals in a box (had chicken and rice tonight), and the frozen crock pot meals

I just need to learn how to grocery shop weekly or bi-weekly again i guess....
Everyone here hates to go to the market!! So no-one does....

Why would someone give you red? I think its a good topic. All too often we are baffled as to what to make for dinner and looking for new ideas.

I love grocery shopping but only when I have the money for it. Yes, I agree Homestyle OvenBakes are ok (still need doctoring up) and quick and easy. I've been blessed with a boyfriend that is easy going when it comes to the food I cook for him Very easy to please.
