Yes.

Meanwhile, there's still no Sonic, Steak & Shake, Osco, Krispy Kreme, Macy's, Barnes & Noble, or decent Big & Tall Clothing stores around here.

Sigh.

But at least we'll have two Food Lions within walking distance of each other.

I live near Indian Head and our Food lion is pretty good. Sometimes you can find things there that Safeway doesn't have yet. Its way cheaper too.

I hate a freaking Food Lion. I want the freaking Giant I keep seeing the signs for.

Ok, I'm finished.

Food Lion

Down here in Florida, the distances between Publix (the major food store chain here) are so close together you can spit from one store and hit the next store. I'm not joking, I have six Publix stores in a five mile radius of where I live.

The rest I can live without, but Calvert could definetly do well with a Barnes & Noble or Borders somewhere. When I'm up there, I need my book store fix, and a half hour drive to Waldorf is a major pain.

Tucson is like that with Fry's and Circle K.

You can't swing a rattlesnake by the tail in Tucson without hitting a Circle K.

And this is the one thing that I like better here than in AZ: the convenience stores. Wawa and Sheetz kick the ever-loving crap out of all other convenience stores that I'm familiar with.

I wonder if they're ever going to start popping up in Calvert.
