The Monthly tuition is not much more than what I currently pay for DayCare -If the program is worth it and my child is in a safe enviornment money is no concern. (not trying to sound snotty)

My child went to starmaker and I did not like their staff or their teaching. I was especially disappointed in their pre-k and kindegarten classes.

In my experience, there was more play time than education time. My child left after 2 years gaining no real knowledge. Also, the kindegarten teacher that my child had was very new age and tried to teach yoga and how to save the earth. There is nothing wrong with this but I would have prefered that my child learn reading, writing and math.

Starmaker is a Montessori school, so their teaching methods are different. Our kids learned quite a bit there. Our daughter was way ahead of her 2nd grade class when she started public school.

I use to work at Starmaker a LONG time ago- and I liked a few teachers there! They were awesome!
