local phone service

Hi,

I was wondering if it's $21 for Verizon local phone service .
I check on the Verizon website and it had no information. I will call them tomorrow to ask this question but I thought someone might have this info off hand. We changed to another long distance company and we only have Verizon for local service
(that seems bit high for local service but it could be just me not being in touch with local service cost).

I think it's $28 and goes up from there depending on what extras you get.

My line with no added services is about $32 a month once the tax man gets through with it. That's for unlimited service.
