anyone looking for cell service without the long contract

I'trying to get out of my verizon contract without any early termination fee. To do this I need to find someone willing to take over my current contract. The contract is up 07Jan. You would have to do nothing except we go into the Verizon store together and switch it over. You will only be in the contract until 07Jan. I will also thorw in my 2 phones. Or I will switch with someone that has a Nextel contract they want to get rid of. The plan I have is the Americas Choice Family Shareplan.

The benefits of this would be:
your not locked into a 2 year contract.
after the first of Jan07 now you can stay with verizon and leave at anytime without paying the early termination fee.

You better test drive Nextel before doing anything rash. I've got both (business/family). Verizon is a tone deaf, uncaring, un-accountable, overpriced business that occasionally screws up. Nextel is a tone deaf, uncaring, un-accountable, way overpriced business that frequently screws up.

I've found the nextel family plan the same as the verizon one. Plus nextel gets better signal where im at.

I've always had great customer service from Nextel! Always curtious and they've even knocked off charges for me when I asked And I was just being funny about it and he rolled right out with a Sure Mrs. CMC

My husband just got Nextel through this work. It SUCKS. My calls never go through.

I wish they'd go back to Cingular.

Every month we have errors that sometimes total several hundred dollars. They are always courteous and they always credit the errors but do we catch all the errors? I doubt it because I'm talking a lot of errors in different parts of the bill. The way the pages of the bill are laid out is not in sequence. Page 40 can be on the back of page two and you have to read every page to figure out how they came up with the outrageous figure.

Thank gawd it's easy enough to speak with a live person at Nextel where with Verizon you wear out your keypad on the endless menu. I've only had a few problems with Verizon but have resolved none.
