McKay highway warning sign

My apologies if this is a repeat.

Has anyone noticed the mobile electronic McKay campaign signs on 235? The exact same mobile electronic signs that are being used to warn of the T.J. Johnson Bridge closure?

Did the county rent these signs, and McKay happen to rent the same sign? Does the county own these signs, and McKay happened to rent the same sign? Or is it as obvious as it appears?

I found it a little weird also. I've never seen them advertise on those types of signs.

I had noticed it and wondered (and posted about it) a couple weeks ago. Then a couple days ago I noticed it was being hauled by a truck that said McKays Rentals. I guess he's in the business or one of them is.

If it's a rental it's awful funny the sign (that I saw) was sitting across from the K-Mart light flashing Tommy McKay for Senate, the very next morning, it was flashing Thomas Johnson Bridge info and later the sign was moved to the Route 4 Bridge access road. Awful big coincidence.....

Are you really, truly, absolutely without a doubt, sure about that? Same rig?

I am sure. I drove by it the first morning on my way to work and noticed it flashing Tommy McKay for Senate. I went to work and told my co-workers about it and told them to go see for themselves. The very next morning the sign had changed to read Thomas Johnson Bridge info. Later that day, I noticed the sign no longer there and down around the area of the white church on Rt. 4 with the Thomas Johnson Bridge info on it. I happened to start to mention something to my son about it the other day and he finished my sentences for me regarding the info I saw on the sign so I knew I wasn't the only one seeing it.

I guess I must have been hallucinating when I saw the rented McKay sign, then half a mile later saw the SHA sign with the bridge warning. They are NOT the same sign.

McKay has done enough to sabotage his chances without you adding this stupidity.
