not quite as lethal as the new Nintendo Wii, but apparently they are pretty darned dangerous...especially when watching a video podcast while driving, drinking coffee, chatting on the cell, and and applying makeup all at the same time.

I'll never understand watching movies/tv/whatever on a 2-4" screen. Mine has a 4.3" screen and I doubt that I will ever watch any video on it.

...but that's me. If I get something for music, it would be a 4-8GB flash based player with a dinky screen.

...and if you go by Seenonradio's "The rule to remember in electronics is 'You get what you pay for'.", it'll be two or three times better than an iPod!

I need at least a 20GB. I do have alot of music. Videos - 40GB-60GB WMP is ideal.

Thing about iPod is I have NO .MP4 videos and doubt I will ever have that many. I have somethig that can convert MP4 to WMV sooo...

It has to do .ASF and .WMV...

My music collection is ~12GB, but I don't feel that it is necessary to have all of those songs with me. Actually, one of the cool things about the Zen Vision W is that you can rate your songs on the player and have it play your highest rated songs. Or you can tell it to play unrated songs so that you can go through them all and give them ratings. Not sure if the Vision:M does that though.

Hmmm, the three biggies (iPod, Zune, Vision:M) don't support .ASF and the iPod can't do .WMV either. It doesn't look like Archos will do .ASF either. You may be out of luck on that one.
