Ate there last night for free :) My sister is a waitress there and they gave free dinners to the staff for 3 of their family members or friends. It was yummy!

I believe there is a Boston Pizza place (at least I think that's the name on the sign) going in over by Sears and I heard there is supposed to be a seafood restaurant going in too.

The only name on the sign for the restaurant park is for Boston Gourmet Pizza. There's space for like nine or eleven names on the sign so who knows what else might be coming even though I can't name any eatery chains that already aren't in town.

Thats the 60 million dollar project for a new town center where the old stardust motel was.....but yes they are coming also along with Ruth Chris.

That's suppose to be upscale retail and dining.

I went to the Carrabbas friends and family night opening on Saturday, and it was fantastic. Carrabbas is owned by Outback, and they're moving into Southern Maryland agressively. The new Cheeseburger in Paradise in California is doing great, and a beautiful new Outback Steakhouse opened in Prince Frederick a few weeks ago.

The manager at Carrabbas said a Bonefish Grill (high-end seafood) is planned for California/Lexington Park in the near future I think Outback has discovered that the resturants they open in SOMD sell a high percentage of alcohol to food, which is good for profits.

Drink up, SOMD-ers!

We went to Carrabas tonight. But when the smoking ban goes into effect, it will be Penne Rusticana and Sausage Lentil Soup at Casa Vrai.

Mine's better anyway.
