Good Luck. I hope everything works out for you. Moving is a pain in the butt so I wouldn't want to risk moving to a bad area and then having to move all over again. The police in Indian Head are county police. The just have a small station there too. Is this a really new neighborhood?

Brawner Estates is much closer to Bryans Road then to Indian Head. There seems to be a lot of teenagers hanging around there. Indian head is a pretty safe place as is Charles County. I think there were 5 murders in Charles County in 2006 and all of the victims knew their killers.

The western side of the county kind of fizzeled out. There are tons of people there but no real ammenities. 1 grocery store, no blockbuster one 2 fast food restruants and no national sitdown restruants.

Believe it or not, Marshall Hall Restaurant is very good (Rt. 227 just past Strawberry Hills).

And the Giant is right off of 210 on the corner of Rt. 227, which isn't right around the corner, but it sure beats going to Waldorf.

And there is a Safeway and Food Lion right in Bryans Road.

I went through Brawner Estates this evening (which imo, is in BR, ) and noticed the same thing 2ball did. I'm not sure I'd want to live there. There are much nicer places in Bryans Road, Indian Head, and Marbury.
