Red face Relocating to Indian Head

Hello, my husband and I are relocating to Indian Head from Clinton, MD. Can anyone tell me about the area. how is the crime, communities and schools in the area. I have a 1 year old. Are their any trustworthy daycare provides in the area. We have started looking for houses in the area. How is Brawner's Estates, or any other community near the beltway.

What exactly are you looking for? The area you mentioned in your first post is not what I'd call Indian Head.

Isn't Brawner Estates that new neighborhood on 225? Kind of lower down near 210?

What's it near? When I look at up it shows it as Ft. Washington.

Ahhhhhh... really nothing, kind of like driving along and wow a neighborhood.

I just remember the name "Brawner" which is a popular name there in that neighborhood.

The best bet is to call the local police department and ask what sorts of calls they have ran in that neighborhood. I would imagine anywhere in Indian Head would be better than Clinton.

I didn't see it listed on the CCSO website as a Crime Watch neighborhood in Charles County. They list all of the neighborhoods that do the crime watch and then it breaks things down as to what kinds of police calls they run there.
But it does have to be better than Clinton.

It might be better that Clinton. I just looked at the CCSO site myself and didn't see that neighborhood. So I'm going to take that a good thing. Plus I'll visit the police dept. in Indian Head to find out more info. today. I heard that they are building the town up and that it's a 5 to 10 years for planning and development Indian Head.
